SANTORINI ANCIENT COIN HOOP EARRINGS (1519dol)

These gold vermeil hoop earrings, available also in sterling silver, are based on a replica ancient Greek coin. Each city or state in ancient Greece had their own badge or symbol. The dolphin being that of Santorini.On the front of the coin a pair of dolphins are depicted, swimming in opposite directions.  The harmonius movement of the dolphins reflects how they swim naturally in the sea & resembles how they were presented in the coinage of 530BC Santorini.  We have taken this symbol and translated it into beautiful earrings.  

The earrings are made either in 18ct gold vermeil or sterling silver.  The hoops are 25mm in diameter, the disc 13mm
