LARGE KEISHI PEARL EARRINGS ON SILVER POSTS (1500)

These large Keishi pearl stud earrings have a gorgeous iridescent lustre and are presented on sterling silver posts.  Keishi pearls are formed when the mollusc rejects the core nucleus and the result is pure but irregular nacre.  The word Kesihi is Japanese for 'poppy'.

Diameter approximately 20mm. Note that the irregular shape of Keishi pearls means that the size can vary slightly.
