ORDERING & PRICES

Ordering

Argent of London accepts orders via our website, over the telephone, via mail order (please request a catalogue) or at our London showroom. All orders must be paid for in full prior to despatch. Argent of London will acknowledge your order by e-mail and advise the likely delivery date. A receipt will be enclosed with your package or sent to you if you have ordered a gift to be sent direct to a third party.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have provided the full correct postal address of both the registered cardholder, as well as the delivery address, and also have supplied us with a means of communication (telephone or e-mail) in case we need to contact you. We can track and trace all orders despatched to UK postal addresses with a full postcode. Please see the following page for Delivery details.

The cost of precious metals and stones is subject to fluctuation. Consequently prices may change without notice. If the price of an item you have ordered has changed we shall notify you before processing and despatch.

Please note that for reasons of health and hygiene we are unable to accept returns for earrings - see Returns.

We accept secure online payment using any of the following credit cards: Delta, MasterCard, Maestro or Visa. We no longer accept payment by cheque, but can take electronic bank transfers. Please ask us for details.

Making a contract with us

When you place an order with us you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm we have received your order.

Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods we will e-mail you again to confirm we accept your order and that a contract has been made between us. We will not take payment from you until we have accepted your order and know that the goods are being dispatched to you.

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this.

TAXES FOR NON UK RESIDENTS

It is the customer's responsibility to pay any local sales taxes that are applicable.  Simlarly, where UK VAT is not applicable customers should reclaim this through their local excise offices .
